Philippine President GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO attends Simbang Gabi at St. Jerome Parish Church

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, president of the Republic of the Philippines attended Simbang Gabi (December 17, 2001) held at St. Jerome Parish Church Patio, celebrated by our beloved parish priest, Fr. Larry Paz. The president was accompanied by First Gentleman Mike Arroyo. Also in attendance was our town (Morong) mayor, The Hon. George Bernardo.

"It was an experience for the people of Morong. Mayors of neighboring towns narito lahat, everybody was excited. It was a very simple religious celebration..... tuwang-tuwa ang mga taga-Morong, isang pasko na hindi malilimutan. I say it was a private affair with the Christian community of St. Jerome, the President and with the Lord" - Fr Larry Paz.
